Homemade Beef Barley Soup A hot pot of scrumptious homemade beef barley soup from scratch..Now that we are deep into harvest time, it is time for me to pull out some more soup recipes from my hat.. Mix together well. Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours until veggies and barley are& . Let it simmer on low for about 1 hour or until the barley softens..
